Hi! If you’re Autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, or otherwise wired differently, welcome. We’re a peer-led group, in ASL, meeting biweekly. No therapy, no diagnosis required, no masking needed.<\/p>\n

We meet in ASL on purpose. Access to interpreters is limited and often expensive, and a lot of us are tired of waiting on someone else to make a room usable. This is a space where ASL is just how we talk, not an accommodation we have\n to ask for.<\/p>\n

We don’t believe in rigidity, productivity pressure, or trying to fix who you are. Just show up and see how it goes.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Why this group exists<\/h3>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

I started this because I needed it too. I couldn’t find anything in ASL for adults with ADHD or autism.<\/p>\n

I’m both an internal processor and a verbal processor: I need to talk things through with people, over and over, while also quietly analyzing every detail on my own. I’m an extreme rule-follower who also acts on impulse, which mostly\n just makes me mad at myself. A living contradiction. An extroverted introvert.<\/p>\n

So… I’m an open book until I’m closed? If any of this feels familiar, come sit with us.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
